Find the value of all the variables in the following figure ( x, y and z). Also state the geometrical fact you used to find them. 1. z + 60° = 180°

z = 180° - 60°

z = 120°

2. x + 143° = 180°

x = 180°-143°

x = 37°

3. x+y = 60°

37° + y = 60°

y = 60° - 37°

y = 23°

Therefore

z = 120°

x = 37°

y= 23°
