i) solution :
x = 55 ° and y = z °
Since angle around a point equals 360°
=>x + y + z + 55 ° = 360°
Substituting x and y
=> 55° + z° + 55 ° = 360°
=> z° = 360° - 55° - 55°
=> z° = 360° - 110°
=> z° = 250°
=> y° = 250°
=> x° = 55°
ii) Solution :
z° = 40°
y° = x° + 25°
Since angle around a point equals 360°
=> 40° + x° + 25° + z° + y° = 360°
Substituting z and y
=> 40° + x° + 25° + 40° + x° + 25° = 360°
=>2x° + 130° = 360°
=>2x° = 360° - 130°
=>2x° = 230°
=>x° = 115°
=>y° = x° + 25° = 115° + 25° = 140°
=>z = 40°
