i) solution :

x = 55 ° and y = z °

Since angle around a point equals 360°

=>x + y + z + 55 ° = 360°

Substituting x and y

=> 55° + + 55 ° = 360°

=> = 360° - 55° - 55°

=> = 360° - 110°

=> = 250°

=> = 250°

=> = 55°

ii) Solution :

= 40°

= + 25°

Since angle around a point equals 360°

=> 40° + x° + 25° + z° + y° = 360°

Substituting z and y

=> 40° + + 25° + 40° + + 25° = 360°

=>2x° + 130° = 360°

=>2x° = 360° - 130°

=>2x° = 230°

=> = 115°

=> = + 25° = 115° + 25° = 140°

=>z = 40°
