I think there is a mistake in your question. Because its tan not 10.

cos²30°+sin30°+tan²45°.

cos30°=√3/2.

sin30°=1/2.

tan45°=1.

cos²30°+sin30°+tan²45°=(√3/2)²+(1/2)+(1)².

=3/4+1/2+1. (Because √ & ² will cancel).

=3+2+4/4. (Because LCM of 4 & 2 is 4).

=9/4.
