Two angles are said to be complementary of their sum is equal to 90° .
θ & (90° - θ) are complementary angles

SOLUTION :

GIVEN:
cosec 70° – sec 20°

Cosec ( 90° - 20°) - sec 20°
sec 20° - sec 20°

[ Cosec ( 90° - θ ) = sec θ ]
= 0

cosec 70° – sec 20° = 0
Hence, the value of cosec 70° – sec 20° is 0 (zero).
