Equivalent resistance
ED and AC are in parallel .
1/R = 1/30 + 1/30
= > 1/R = 2 × 1/30
= > 1/R = 2/30
= > 1/R = 1/15
= > R = 15
Now this 15 is series with BC
R = 15 + 15
= 30
This 30 is again parallel with AB
1/R = 1/30 + 1/15
= > 1/R = ( 1 + 2 ) / 30
= > 1/R = 3 / 30
= > R = 30/3
= > R = 10
Equivalent resistance = 10
Ohm's law :
V = I R
= > I = V/R
Given :
V = 3 v
I = 3 v / 10 ohm
= 0.3 A
ANSWER :
0.3 A is the current flowing !
