Hey friend!!

Here's ur answer..

____________________

If x-1 is a factor, so x-1 = 0
x - 1 = 0
x = 1.

Given equation :
4 {x}^{3}  + 3 {x}^{2}  - 4x + k = 0 \\ put \: x = 1 \\  \\ 4(1 {)}^{3}  + 3(1 {)}^{2}  - 4(1) + k = 0 \\ 4 + 3 - 4 + k = 0 \\ 3 + k = 0 \\ k =  - 3
