1)CFC is a Harmful gas for Ozone Layer, it make holes in this(Ozone Layer) and helps to come UV in earth.For that using Of CFC banned.In Montril Protocol(1987) in Canada, There Are Some Rules Established.

I) Before 1995, the using of CFC will be decrease 50%.

ii)After 2000, the using of CFC will be fully Banned.

2) The Products Which Makes CFC- (i)refrigerators,
(ii) airconditioners,
(iii)fire extinguishers,
(iv)in dry cleaning,
(v)as solvents for cleaning,
(vi)electronic equipment etc

3)ODS->Ozone depleting substance

It Means, which products use to make the gases/things which are harmful for Ozone Layer those are calls Ozone depleting substances.
Like, refrigerators, airconditioners, fire extinguishers, in dry cleaning etc.
