=> k² - 12k + 36 = 0
By middle term splitting method
=> 36 = 6 x 6
=> k² - 6k - 6k + 36 = 0
=> k(k - 6) - 6(k - 6) = 0
=> (k - 6)² = 0
Thus k = 6 or k = 6
