Hey!!!

Good Evening

___________

=> k² = 12k - 36

=> k² - 12k + 36 = 0

By middle term splitting method

=> 36 = 6 x 6

=> k² - 6k - 6k + 36 = 0

=> k(k - 6) - 6(k - 6) = 0

=> (k - 6)² = 0

Thus k = 6 or k = 6

____________

Hope this helps ✌️

Good Night :-)

k^2=12k-36
k^2-12k+36=0
k^2-6k-6k+36=0
k(k-6)-6(k-6)=0
(k-6)(k-6)=0
(k-6)=0
k=6
