Let, p(x)= 2×2 + x + k
And, since 3 is the zero of thepolynomial p(x), thus taking the value of x = -3 inthe given polynomial.
Therefore, p(x) => 2×2 + (-3) + k = 0
=> 4 - 3 + k = 0
=> 1 + k = 0
=> k = -1
