find the value of k for which one root of the quadratic equation is kx2 -14x +8 = 0 is 2.
pls help me i have my math exam tmrw !!

Simple !!

hence the root satisfy the the equation

simply put the value in it


Kx² - 14x + 8 = 0

p ( 2 )

=>

k (2² ) - 14× 2 + 8 = 0

4k -20= 0

k = 5
