Solution :

Given Quadratic equation:

kx² - 14x + 8 = 0

and one root is 2.

Substitute x = 2 in given

quadratic equation , we

get

k(2)² - 14×2 + 8 = 0

=> 4k - 28 + 8 = 0

=> 4k - 20 = 0

=> 4k = 20

=> k = 20/4

=> k = 5

Answer:kx^2-14x+8=o

2 is a root of kx^2-14x+8=0

K(2)^2_14(2)+8=0

4k-28+8=0

4k-20=0

K=5
