Given,the two eqn. are x-3y=5 & 5x+ky=10

We know that a system of eqn.has unique solution if a1/a2 is not equal to b1/b2.

In the given eqn.s a1=1 a2=5 & b1=-3 b2=k

so, 1/5 = -3/k

(NB:plz use "not equal"symbol in the place of equal.it can't type in keyboard)

=>k= -15. (use not equal symbol )

hence the value of K is -15
