Solution :

Compare given Quadratic equation

4x² + kx + 3 = 0 with ax² + bx + c = 0,

we get

a = 4 , b = k , c = 3

Discriminant ( D ) = 0 [ equal roots ]

=> b² - 4ac = 0

=> k² - 4×4×3 = 0

=> k² = 4 × 4 × 3

=> k = ± √(4×4×3)

=> k = ± 4√3
