Answer:

Let P(x)=4x3+3x2−4x+k

Given,  (x−1) is a factor of P(x)

x−1=0

x=1∴ p(1)=4×(1)2+3×(1)2−4×(1)+k=0

4+3−4+k=0

k+3=0

k=−3

Hence, the value of k is −3

Answer:

-3 is the value of k

Step-by-step explanation:

x-1 is a factor of 4x³+3x²-4x+k

so, we put X = 1

Now,

4(1)³+3(1)²-4(1)+k = 0

4(1)+3(1)-4+k = 0

4+3-4+k = 0

3+k = 0

k = -3

Hope it helps!!!❤️
