find the value of k, if quadratic equation 6x^2 + 5x - K =0 has two real and equal roots​

Answer:

the real and equal zeroes means

b^2-4ac must be zero

b=5

a=6

c= -k

b^2- 4ac = (5)^2- 4.6.(-k)

25+24k =0

24k= -25

k= - 25/24
