Given: The equation 3kx = 5 + 2y

To find: The value of k .

Solution:

  • The given points are 1) (1, 1) , 2) (1, 2) , 3) (2, 1)
  • Putting (1,1), we get:

                   3k(1) = 5 + 2(1)

                   3k = 7

                   k = 7/3

  • Putting (1,2), we get:

                   3k(1) = 5 + 2(2)

                   3k = 9

                   k = 3

  • Putting (2,1) , we get:

                   3k(2) = 5 + 2(1)

                   6k = 7

                   k = 7/6

Answer:

         So the value of k is 7/3, 3, 7/6 for 1) (1, 1) , 2) (1, 2) , 3) (2, 1) .
