Find the value of k , if x-1 is a factor of the polynomial k x^2 – 3 x + k.

x=1

IF x-1 is a factor of kx²—3x+k

p(x)=kx²-3x+k=0

now, putting value of x in p(x)

k(1)²—3(1)+k=0

k-3+k=0

2k=3

k=3/2
