When a,b and c are in AP. 

then b = a=c/2

so, 2k+3 = k+2+k+8/2 = 2k+10/2 = k+5
      k = 2

So 2(2k+3) = k+2 + k+8
=> 4k + 6 = 2k + 10
=> 2k = 4
=> k = 2
Value of k is 2
