multiplying eqn 1 by 2 we get
6X-2y-10=0
then subtraction eqn 1 from 2
6X-2y-10-6X+2y-K=0
-10-K=0
K=-10
6X-2y-10=0
then subtraction eqn 1 from 2
6X-2y-10-6X+2y-K=0
-10-K=0
K=-10

If those lines should not have common solution then those lines should be parallel lines
The condition for parallel lines is
a1/a2=b1/b2 (is not equal to ) c1/C2
.°.3/6=-1/-2 (is not equal to ) -5/k
1/2=1/2 (is not=) -5/k
1/2 (is not =) -5/k
k is not equal to -10

.°. K can take any value except -10
