Find the value of lambda if the mode of the following data is 20:
15,20,25,18,13,15,25,15,18,17,20,25,20,lambda,18.

Can this be solved by the empirical formula

3median=2mean+mode...

If yes post the solution...

Thanks in advance

Answer:

Lambda is 20

Step-by-step explanation:

Mode means the highest frequency.

If we are not considering lambda then both 18 and 20 are 3 in number.

For the mode to be 20 , lamda should be 20

Anonymous: I don't think that we get
Anonymous: The value of lambda by emperical formula
Anonymous: If we try, we get the value in negative
