B = 4î - 2j - 2k

If A and B are perpendicular then A. B = 0:

=> [ 2î + πj + πj + k] . [ 4î - 2j - 2k ] = 0

=> 2 × 4 - 2π - 1 × 2 = 0

=> 8 - 2π - 2 = 0

=> π = 3
