find the value of m and n so that y⁴+my³+2y²-3y+n is divisible by y²-1​

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER DEAR,

given that divisor =y^{2}

dividend = y⁴+my³+2y²-3y+n

hence , we first find the zero of the divisor

so  the zero of the divisor is ⇒ y²-1​ =0

                                                    ⇒y =√1    ⇒y= 1

then p(1) = 1⁴+m*1³+2*1²-3*1+n

                        ⇒1+m+2-3+n =0

                            ⇒m+n =0

we use two equation to find m and n

m= 0                 1st equation

so m = 0

2nd equation n=0

so  n= 0    

so the value of m and n is 0
