Answer: UR REQUIRED ANSWER ;-
let p(x) = x³ - mx² + x + 6
If x + 3 is a factor of p(x) then ,
p(-3) = 0
then ,
⇒ p(-3) = (-3)³ - m (-3)² + (-3) +6
⇒ -27 -m × 9 -3 +6
⇒ -27 - 9m + 3
⇒ -9m = 24
⇒ m = -24 /9
⇒ m = - 8/3
