Find the value of 'n' for which 5^n / 5^-3 = 5^5

 \frac{5 {}^{n} }{5 {}^{ - 3} }  = 5 {}^{5}  \\ 5 {}^{n}  = 5 {}^{5} \times 5 {}^{ - 3}   \\ 5 {}^{n}  = (5) {}^{5 - 3}  \\ 5 {}^{n}  = 5 {}^{2}
When bases are same we equate powers
So,
n=2
