Heya,
Given => 4x² + px + 3
When the roots of a quadratic polynomial is equal to zero.
This means that Discrimination = 0
=> b² - 4ac = 0
In the given quadratic polynomial;
a = 4
b = p
c = 3
So, Putting values in formula, we get;
=> (p)² - 4(4)(3) = 0
=> p² = 48
=> p = √48
=> p = 4√3. ...... Answer
Hope this helps....:)
