Heya ❤️

here's your answer !!

5x+2py=2

put x=-2 and y=-1

5×-2+2p×-1=2

-10-2p=2

-2p=2+10

-2p=12

p=12/-2

p=-6 (required answer)

Hope it helps !!

5x + 2py = 2 \\  \\ put \: the \: value \: of \:  \\ x =  - 2 \\y =  - 1 \\  \\ 5( - 2) + 2(p)( - 1) = 2 \\  \\(- 10) + ( - 2p) = 2  \\  \\  - 10 - 2p = 2 \\  \\  - 2p = 12 \\  \\ 2p =  - 12 \\  \\ p =  - 12 \div 2 \\  \\ p =  - 6
