Answer:

 {5}^{ p- 3}  \times  {3}^{2p - 8}  = 225

 {5}^{p - 3}  \times  {3}^{2p - 8}  =  {3}^{2}  \times  {5}^{2}

 \frac{ {5}^{ p- 3} }{ {5}^{2} }  \times  \frac{ {3}^{2p - 8} }{ {3}^{2} }  = 1

 {5}^{ p- 3 - 2}  \times  {3}^{2p - 8 - 2}  = 1

 {5}^{ p- 5}  \times  {3}^{2p - 10}  = 1

 {5}^{p - 5}  \times(  {3}^{2})  {}^{p - 5}  = 1

 (5 \times 9) {}^{p - 5}  = 1

 {45}^{p - 5}  =  {45}^{0}

p - 5 = 0

p = 5
