Find the value of ‘p’ in 0.16p (5p – 2) = 0.4p + 7

Answer:

0.16p (5p – 2) = 0.4p + 7

0.80p - 0.32 = 0.4p + 7

0.80p - 0.4p = 7 + 0.32

0.40p = 7.32

p = 7.32/0.40

p = 18.3
