x+y=42,

so x=42-y

then y+z=68

so z=68-y

x+z=88 then put the value of x and y in this equation then,

42-y+68-y=88

110–2y=88

then -2y=88–110

so y=22/2=11 minus is cancel because it is in both side so cancel it

like this

x=31 and z=57. Answer
