p(z) = 3z {}^{2}  - 4z +  \sqrt{17} \\ p(3) = 3 \times 3 {}^{2}   - 4 \times 3 +  \sqrt{17}  \\ p(3) = 27 - 12 +  \sqrt{17}  \\ p(3) = 15 +  \sqrt{17}
