8^2=4^2 +2 ×1 s
64= 16+2s
16+2s =64
2s = 64-16
2s = 48
s =24 m
Hope it helps u

Given in Question :

v = 8 m/s

u = 4 m/s

a = 1 m/s

s = ?

v² = u² + 2 as

8 = 4² + 2 × 1 × s

64 = 16 + 2s

s = 48/2 = 24 m

If a = g = 9.8m/s²

64 = 16 + 2 × 9.8 × s

s = 48/9.8 × 2 = 2.45 m
