sin² θ + cos² θ

θ = 30° ; θ = 60° respectively.

So,

sin² 30° + cos² 60°

cos² ( 90° - 30° ) + cos² 60° { •°• sin θ = cos (90 - θ) }

cos² 60° + cos² 60°

2 cos² 60°

2 × (1/2)²

2 × 1/4

1/2

Hence, Your answer is 1/2
