Find the value of sin²30° + cos²45°.

Sin30 = 1/2

Cos45=1/√2

Sin²30 + cos²45 = (1/2)² + (1/√2)²

=1/4 + 1/2

= 1/4+2/4

=3/4

We know that

\underline{sin\:30°\:=\:1/2}

\underline{cos\:45°\:=\:1/√2}

To find :

sin²30° + cos²45° .......(1)

Substitute values of sin and cos in eq. (1)

(1/2)² + (1/√2)²

= 1/4 + 1/2

= (2+4)/8

= 6/8

= 3/4
