Hey !!!

tan22 ½ ° = ?

•°• tanA/2 = +-√1+tan²A -1 /tanA [•°• A/2 = 22½° ]

•°• tan22½° = +-√1+tan²45° -1 /tan45°

= +- √1+1 - 1 /1

= +-√2-1

°•° 22½ is in first quadrant

so, tan22½° = √2 -1 Answer
