Given :

-\tan 225^\circ

To find : the value =?

Solution :

As tan is negative,

And we know that tan is negative in second and fourth quadrant.

So, according to second quadrant , we will use (\pi +\theta) :

\tan 225^\circ=\tan (180^\circ +45^\circ)=\tan 45^\circ = 1

Hence, the value of -\tan 225^\circ is 1.
