The radius of the circle passing through the points (0, 0), (1, 0) and (0, 1) is \frac{1}{\sqrt{2} } units

  • The radius of the circle passing through the points (0, 0), (a, 0) and (0, b) is given by

                 r = \frac{\sqrt{a^{2} + b^{2} } }{2} \\Here \\    a = 1, b = 1\\r = \frac{\sqrt{1^{2} + 1^{2} } }{2}\\  = \frac{\sqrt{2} }{2} \\  = \frac{1}{\sqrt{2} } units
