Step-by-step explanation:

Solutions:-

1)

From th given figure,

They are intersecting lines with a common point

a = 55°

Reason :-

Vertically opposite angles are equal .

2)

From the given figure ,

145° and d are linear pair

=>145°+d = 180°

=>d = 180° - 145°

=>d = 35°

The value of d = 35°

Reason:-

Linear pair

Answers:-

a = 55°

d = 35°

Used formulae:-

  • The two Intersecting lines with a common point so formed angles are vertically opposite angles and they are equal.
  • The sum of two adajacent angles is 180° then they are called Linear pair.

Answer:

a) =55° vertically opposite angles are equal

d)=35° because the ray is on the line . And straight lines always have their angles equal to 180° so , 180°=145°-d

d=180°-145° => d= 35°
