We have a= -6 & d= 4

Let an= 58

=) a+(n-1)d= 58

=) -6+(n-1)4= 58

=) (n-1)4= 64

=) (n-1) = 16

=) n= 16+1 = 17

Since n is odd, so there will be middle term.

=) (n+1)th/2 term

=) 17+1th /2 term

=) 18/2th term

=) 9th term

So,

a9= a+(9-1)d

=) -6 +8d

=) -6+ 8(4)

=) -6+ 32
