Simply put x=2 and x=-1 in place of x in the polynomial .. say f(x)
=> f(-1) = 5(-1) - 4(-1)^2 +3 = -5 -4 +3 = -6
=> f(2) = 5(2) -4(2)^2 +3 = 10 -16 + 3 = -3
=> f(-1) = 5(-1) - 4(-1)^2 +3 = -5 -4 +3 = -6
=> f(2) = 5(2) -4(2)^2 +3 = 10 -16 + 3 = -3

Answer:
Step-by-step explanation:
x=2. (5*2-4*4+3)=10-16+3 = -3
x=-1. (5*-1-4*1+3)=-5-4+3 = -6
