Given,

A variable p(x) = 3x^{2} -4x-{} \sqrt{11}

To find,

The value of p(x) = 3x^{2} -4x-{} \sqrt{11} at x =2.

Solution,

To find the value at x =2 we will find p(2).

⇒  p(x) = 3x^{2} -4x-{} \sqrt{11}

⇒  p(2) = 3(2)² - 4(2) - \sqrt{11}.

⇒  p(2) = 3(4) - 8 - \sqrt{11}.

⇒  p(2) = 12 - 8 - \sqrt{11}.

⇒  p(2) = 4 - \sqrt{11}.

Hence, the value of polynomial p(x) =  3x^{2} -4x-{} \sqrt{11} at x =2 is,

p(2) = 4 - \sqrt{11}.
