Answer:-

  • Value of x = -1
  • Value of y = 1

Given:-

  • 3x - 7y + 10 = 0
  • y - 2x - 3 = 0

To find:-

  • Value of variable x and y.

Solution:-

• 1st equation :- 3x - 7y + 10 = 0...(i)

• 2nd equation :- y - 2x - 3 = 0

On further solving 2nd equation,

→ y - 2x = 3

Multiplying both sides by 7

→ 7y - 14x = 21 -- (ii)

Adding eq (i) and (ii), we get

3x - 14x = -10 + 21

→ -11x = 11

→ x = -1

Putting x = (-1) in eq (i),

3(-1) - 7y = 10

→ -3 - 7y = 10

→ -7y = 10 + 3

→ y = -7/-7

→ y = 1

Hence,

  • Value of x = -1
  • Value of y = 1
