Hey.. here's the answer,
Squaring both sides, we get,
x*x-16-(x*x-8x+16) = (x*x-5x+4);
now,
-16-16+8x = x*x-5x+4;
-32+8x=x*x-5x+4;
now... equation is..,
x^2-13x+36=0;
on solving,we get,.
(x-9) (x-4)=0;
x=9,4;
