Answer:
⏩Here's your answer
▶As shown in the figure...
⏩AB || DF
▶angle ABC = angle EFG(corresponding angles ) (given)
▶40°=y
⏩Let's take triangle DEC
We have
➡Angle DCE =85° (vertically opposite angles)
➡angle CDE =40° (Alternate interior angles...)
▶By angle sum
➡85+40 + angle DEC =180
➡Angle DEC =180-125
➡Angle DEC = 55°
⏩angle DEC = angle GEF (vertically opposite angles)
⏩55°=angle GEF
➡By Exterior angle Theorem...
⏩We know that exterior angle is equal to the sum of its two interior opposite angle...
➡55+40 =x
➡95°=x
⏩Therefore x is equal to 95 while y is equal to 40....
Hope it helps ❤✌

From this above figure
angleB=angleF (corresponding angles)
So, y=40
angleG=x + angleC
angleG=x+85
WKT.,,
x+85=180(linear)
x =180 - 85
x=95
I hope it will help you!!
