Angle BDC+ Angle BDA = 180°( Linear pair)

108°+ Angle BDA = 180°

Angle BDA = 180°-108°

Angle BDA = 72°

AB= BD(given)

So according to isosleces theorm the angles equal to the opposite equal sides are equal.

Angle BAD = Angle BDA

72°=72°

In triangle BDA

Angle BAD+ Angle BDA+ Angle ABD= 180°(Angle sum property of triangle)

72°+72°+y = 180°

144°+ y= 180°

y= 180°-144°

y= 36°

BD= DC(given)

BD= AB

So, AB= DC

According to isosleces theorm the angles equal to the opposite equal sides are equal.

Angle BCD= Angle ADB

Angle BCD= 72°

We also know that

BD=CD

So, according to isosceles theorm the angles equal to the opposite side are equal.

Angle BDC = Angle DBC

72°=x

Therefore y= 36° and x= 72°
