y=180-53

=127°

x=180-(180-(53+53))

=180-74

=106°

If the given lines are parallel,

AC is a transversal. So,

angle AED=angle ACB

so, angle ACB=53°

y=360-53=307°

angle BAC=53°, angle ACB=53°

so, angle ABC=180-(53+53)

=180-106=74°

x=180-74=106° (because it is a linear pair)
