Answer:

we have to find x and y

so,

2/x+3/y=4, 4/x-3/y=5

let 1/x =a and 1/y=b

so 2a+3b=4 and 4a-3b=5

now, solving both equation by elimination method

multiply equation 2a+3b=4 by 2

we have, 4a+6b=8

subtracting 4a-3b=5 from 4a+6b=8

we have,

4a+6b=8

4a-3b=5

(-) (+) (-)

__________

9b=3

b=3/9 b=1/3

putting b in 4a-3b =5

we have, a=3/2

1/x=a so a = 3/2

1/y=b so b=3

doing reciprocal

x=2/3 and y=1/3

This is your answer

I hope this will help you
