FROM ABOVE,

∠BAC=∠ABC=∠ACB

therefore ΔABC is equilateral triangle

therefore ∠abc+∠acb+∠bac=180

             3∠abc=180

          ∠abc=60

       ∠x = 60 degrees

now,

∠x +∠y=180             ...........linear pair angles

60+∠y=180

∠y=180-60

∠y=120
