Given:

  • In a garden,there are 24 sunflowers out of 80 flowers.
  • In another garden,there are 80 sunflowers out of 110 flowers.

To Find:

  • Which garden has a greater ratio of sunflowers = ?

Solution:

 \frac{2 4}{80}  \ratio \frac{80}{110}  \\  \\   \frac{3}{10}  \ratio \frac{40}{55}

Hence, second garden has a greater ratio of sunflowers.
