We know if ,
(x,y) = (a,b)
x=a. And y= b
So, x+3=5
x=2
And 5=y
y =5

Answer:

The values of x and y is x=2 and y=5.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : If (x+3,5)=(5,y)

To find : The values of x and y ?

Solution :

As the coordinates are equal,

(x+3,5)=(5,y)

We equate the corresponding values,

i.e. x+3=5

x=5-3

x=2

and 5=y

Therefore, The values of x and y is x=2 and y=5.
