All it's side are equal.

If all it's sides are equal then the diagonals are the perpendicular bisectors of each other.

So, Let the Centre be O, so that

x + 90° + 40° = 180° ( Angle Sum Property )

or, x = 180° - 130° = 50°

y = 40° ( alternate interior angles )
